Description
The project aims to foster universities’ capacity building for the green transition through innovative practices and higer education (HE) curricula updating in agri-food waste management for the circular bioeconomy. The AGRIMA partnership will advance pedagogical methods for industrial agri-food waste valorisation based on business-academia synergies. In particular, the project focuses on integrating citizen science in bio-economy-enhanced waste valorisation as a means of civic engagement and environmental advocacy.
The AGRIMA project AGRIMA focuses on the green transition, by raising HE students’ awareness of agri-food waste management that will lead to the consensual development of behavioural changes and new mindsets towards circular bio-economies. Therefore, AGRIMA aspires to achieve a social transformation towards a more sustainable economy and, society, besides environmental protection.
