Description

The project aims to scale up the successful approach applied on local level, in Thessaloniki (Greece), during the Acting4DHH project (June 2024-January 2025, https://impetus4cs.eu/acting4dhh/).

Specifically, 3 Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing (DHH) communities from Poland, Slovakia and Ukraine will engage in a citizen social science (CSS) action that aims to enhance social wellbeing of DHH communities in Europe.

Thanks to the transnational and multicultural dimension of Acting4DHH II, new insights on inclusive and accessible CSS will be generated, thus reflecting DHH individuals’ needs, values and participatory methodologies relevant at European level.

The Acting4DHH II project is funded by the Horizon Europe IMPETUS Accelerator 2025 under the category “Sustaining grants”.

Key project activities:

  1. Transnational face-to-face workshop for DHH educators in Thessaloniki, Greece
  2. Launch of the Acting4DHH II page on Scistarter
  3. Video series of Deaf-Hearing individuals’ collaboration for social wellbeing
  4. Acting4DHH II Testimonials
