On July 7, 2022, Web2Learn organised the first webinar “From open and citizen science to activism: roles of academic staff”. The webinar gathered distinguished academic activists who shared their expertise and experiences from their active involvement in climate actions and movements to raise awareness and advocate for bolder policies to tackle climate change. The panel of speakers was composed by Gianluca Grimalda (Kiel Institute for the World Economy), Laura Horn (Roskilde University), Jaume Piera (Institute of Marine studies/CSIC) and Katerina Zourou (Web2Learn). The event was part of the INOS project and was moderated by Michael Peter Edson.
