Baltics4UA Paper

Baltic universities fostering citizen engagement through social actions for Ukrainian refugees

Description:

The open access publication “Baltic universities fostering citizen engagement through social actions for Ukrainian refugees” aims to map and analyse academia-driven actions for Ukrainian refugees in the Baltics. The study brings a special focus on the role of bottom-up and participatory initiatives undertaken by university staff and students. The study comprises a collection of 20 distinguished actions that have been carried out by Baltic and Ukrainian universities since February 2022, thus leveraging universities’ social role and contribution in the Ukrainian humanitarian crisis. The publication was produced by Katerina Zourou, Stefania Oikonomou and Stavros Samiotis and is part of the Baltics4UA project.
