Katerina Zourou and Stefania Oikonomou were invited by the Library of the University of Cyprus to run an online workshop on “Active citizenship: The role of librarians in citizen science” on 25 October 2022. The workshop was delivered in Greek language and focused on libraries as hubs of active citizenship and public participation in science. Katerina and Stefania engaged participants in an interactive workshop comprised of break out rooms where librarians were called to reflect on the role of their institutions in knowledge generation and diffusion within society. The event was part of the EU-funded CeOS_SE Project.
