Description
The project aims to empower young Ukrainian refugees and internally displaced persons through open innovation activities that promote youth engagement and resilience in crises. Specifically, UAnited is designed to enhance young Ukrainians’ knowledge and skills in open innovation solutions to address war-related educational and social challenges.
By fostering cultural exchange and understanding, UAnited promotes solidarity and intercultural dialogue, which are crucial for peaceful coexistence. Activities like the hackathon “Art for Peace” and the online meetup on cultural and language identities encourage young Ukrainians to express their cultural identities while learning about and appreciating the cultures of their host communities. Eventually, the UAnited approach to open innovation for youth empowerment ensures scalability and adaptability to changing circumstances, catering to the diverse needs of the Ukrainian youth populations.
