On June 19, 2023, Web2Learn organised and hosted an online workshop with guest speaker Jill Cousins, Director of The Hunt Museum, Ireland, on “Crowdfunding in practice: Insights from an Irish museum”. The workshop was moderated by Katerina Zourou. The event aimed at providing a hands-on training to cultural heritage professionals on how to set up a crowdfunding campaign by bringing a particular focus on the citizen engagement dimension that goes beyond the timeframe of the campaign. The workshop was part of the EU-funded eCHOIng project and was the second of Web2Learn series on crowdfunding for the cultural heritage sector.
