Secondary school students in Lemnos take action for air quality!

On Friday, April 24, students of Lemnos Robotics in Myrina participated in an interactive workshop, where they assembled a real-time air quality monitoring system using Arduino sensors, powered in part by a solar panel 🌱

Through this process, students learned how sensors work and gained a deeper understanding of the importance of monitoring air pollution.

🔗 The data will soon be available here: https://web2learn.eu/airlimnos_dashboard/map.html

The workshop is an initiative of Web2Learn, in collaboration with Lemnos Robotics, under the EU-funded project European Citizen Science (ECS).

We would like to thank our team members, Katerina Zourou and Andreas Kouzelis, for organising and supervising the action. A warm thanks also to Antonis Makris (Lemnos Robotics) for the collaboration, and to ECS for providing the sensors.

Stay tuned, as the system will soon be installed on Agios Efstratios island as well!
