Description

The project aims to promote interest and excellence in STEAM education through citizen science for teachers and students’ competences in addressing the climate emergency. STEAMies focuses on increasing teachers’ capacity in innovative STEAM teaching methods while engaging students in hands-on actions and mobilities for air and water quality monitoring.

The STEAMies project fosters collaboration between schools, local communities, and research initiatives to monitor air and water quality, generate open environmental data, and transform schools into active hubs for climate engagement. Through workshops, student-led projects, and regional mobilities, the project equips participants with the skills and tools to understand, document, and combat local air and water pollution.
