Description

The project aims to enhance the capacity of higher education institutions (HEIs) to address socio-academic inclusion of refugee students through academia-society cooperation and open innovation.

EGAL-I advances and expands results of the successful EU-funded project AGILE (Higher education resilience in refugee crises, 2022-2025, https://agileproject-erasmus.eu/), whose innovative learning methodology for academic and refugee students’ resilience has been awarded by the EU as one of the top 15 projects for Ukraine in the EC 2024 publication (https://tinyurl.com/y5hx94jm).

Hence, by scaling up AGILE’s approach towards hands-on and action-oriented activities, EGAL-I aims to enhance HEIs’ capacity to withstand crises. EGAL-I will deploy its activities within 3 thematic areas: a) socio-linguistic inclusion (UP8, UHH, SILLAT), b) social justice (UNIMORE, KTU), and c) open innovation/entrepreneurship (W2L, LPNU).
