SIGNS project training on citizen social science in Thessaloniki!
Over two inspiring days in Θεσσαλονίκη (23–24 April 2026), the SIGNS project training activity brought together more than 40 Deaf young people from Poland, Slovakia, Ukraine, and Greece for a unique co-creative experience.
Organised by Web2Learn and hosted by EKVE, the training focused on collaboration, empowerment, and action. Working in national teams, participants explored ideas and developed their own action plans in preparation for upcoming citizen social science initiatives.
Guided by Web2Learn team members, Στεφανία Οικονόμου and Panagiota Fabrikanou, the process was dynamic, inclusive, and full of creativity. The energy in the room was truly inspiring, with participants sharing perspectives, building connections, and shaping meaningful ideas for change.
The results? Thoughtful, innovative, and empowering concepts that highlight the strength and vision of Deaf youth across Europe.
Stay tuned for the upcoming SIGNS citizen social science actions! Exciting things are on the way!
A warm thank you to all participants for your passion, collaboration, and incredible contributions and special thanks to the interpreters who made communication and inclusion possible throughout the training
