An intercultural and intergenerational group of pupils and students express themselves creatively through their own comics.
A group of students from the 4th Evening Vocational High School (EPAL) of the Sivitanidios School, which includes minors and adult students with refugee and migrant backgrounds, -creates, together with a group of students from the Department of Turkish Studies and Modern Asian Studies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (EKPA) stories inspired by social, current, and funny events, which are captured in comics under the guidance of a specialist partner from the Athens Comic Library (ACL). The pupils and students are divided into mixed groups, exchange ideas and begin the creative process of producing their own comic. All of the teams’ work will be collected and published in a comic book. The initiative will be presented as part of the 19th Comic Festival, which will take place at Technopolis in the Municipality of Athens.
Through this initiative, we promote the empowerment of the school and university community by developing social, creative, and communication skills in students.
