At Web2Learn, we are profoundly proud to announce a ground-breaking project<\/strong> our team has initiated and co-designed with the coordinator, the University of Luxembourg! Check our news item below and find out more about our AISTER<\/strong> project!<\/p>

As society experiences a transition period where it learns to co-exist and understand new technologies, particularly AI, researchers and the private sector are leading the way for social innovation and wellbeing through human centred AI!<\/p>

In our new, Erasmus+ KA2 project \u201cAISTER\u201d (AI-enabled Citizen Participation in University-driven Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Safeguarding), we aim to enhance the capacities of European universities in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and human participation for cultural heritage safeguarding in emergency.<\/p>

By leveraging the power of human centred AI, AISTER integrates community-driven citizen science actions that will upskill students and Ukrainian citizens in ethical AI usage, community engagement, and stakeholder empowerment to enhance societal resilience. Thus, the project is designed to exemplify the effective use of AI tools for cultural heritage in emergency (focus area: Ukraine), by covering a wide range of case scenarios where cultural heritage is at risk.<\/p>

Web2Learn will bring its expertise on citizen science and community engagement to the service of the AISTER project, and will lead in-depth analysis on human centred AI and citizen science for cultural heritage protection from an interdisciplinary perspective.<\/p>

The project officially starts on February 2025 and is led by the Luxembourg Centre for Contemporary and Digital History<\/a> (C2DH) at the University of Luxembourg. The consortium is made of: Web2Learn, the University of Latvia, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kiev and Europeana.<\/p>

The project has been ideated and co-designed by Web2Learn<\/strong>.<\/p>
