We are pleased to announce that we have been invited by CitiObs<\/strong> to present the AirLimnos project<\/strong> during a study visit in Brussels<\/strong>, held in the context of the 23rd European Week of Regions and Cities (EWRC)<\/strong>, from 13 to 15 October 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

This invitation highlights Web2Learn\u2019s active role in promoting citizen-driven environmental initiatives and participatory approaches to air quality monitoring and community engagement.<\/p>\n\n

As part of the European Week of Regions and Cities, CitiObs is organising the session \u201cCo-Creating Resilient Cities: Citizens, Data and Participatory Action\u201d<\/strong>, which will take place on 14 October 2025<\/strong>. The session will bring together policy-makers, researchers, and practitioners to explore how citizens and data can work together to build more resilient communities and address the challenges of climate change.<\/p>\n\n

During this session, Web2Learn<\/strong> will present AirLimnos<\/strong>, an initiative that empowers citizens on the island of Limnos to monitor air quality and collaborate with local authorities in shaping sustainable, evidence-based environmental policies. The project demonstrates how citizen-generated data can complement official sources and foster more inclusive, community-driven environmental action.<\/p>\n\n
