Creation and delivery of Greek language and culture courses to adults of refugee background through digital and mobile technologies.
P.R.E.S.S (Provision of Refugee Education and Support Scheme) is a project funded by the Hellenic Open University which addresses the educational and integration needs of refugees currently residing in Greece. The project and lasts from June 2016 to December 2017. Among the several clusters of activities, cluster 16 deals with the creation and delivery of courses of Greek language and culture to adults of refugee background through digital and mobile technologies.
Katerina Zourou was hired between March and July 2017 to support the team in this direction, namely the design of pedagogical tasks for the specific needs of the target groups that fully benefits from the possibilities of the e-learning platform Moodle and its application for mobile devices.
Team members of cluster 16 are Eleutheria Zaga and Roula Kitsiou. The project is supervised by George Androulakis, Anna Apostolidou and Sofia Tsioli.
