The INOS project successfully organised a webinar on “Cultural heritage threats and the role of citizen engagement inside and outside universities”, on June 10. Slides and recording now ready.
The webinar called the attention of participants to the need of safeguarding cultural assets in times of conflict, thus focusing on the current efforts to help protect and preserve Ukrainian cultural heritage. A special focus was placed on the role of open innovation in cultural heritage protection, as showcased by the collection of initiatives created by Web2Learn (available on github), as well as the value of resilience and action-taking for cultural heritage preservation during conflict as it has been outlined in the position paper written by Katerina Zourou and Stefania Oikonomou.
